Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2008!

MORE YEARBOOKS SCANNED AND POSTED APRIL 2008

THIS YEAR MARKS THE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST GRADUATING CLASS FROM CONCRETE HIGH SCHOOL. FOUR STUDENTS GRADUATED MAY 24, 1918; THEY WERE EMMA WILLIAMS, MAE ELKINS, MAIDA BRIDE AND WESLEY HOWARD.

  • A special 'thank-you' and acknowledgment to the Concrete Town Council, especially Mike Criner for allowing me access to the volumnes of yearbooks at the Old Town Library to scan and record for posterity. Congrats to Andrea Fichter, CHS 1995 for her recent promotion to Town Clerk.
  • YANICA Yearbooks 1985 and 1986 are now available. Pivotal years in the history of Concrete High School as the town saw their Football team winning State Championships both years at the Tacoma Dome, 1985 with a 12-1 record and 1986 with a 13-0, it's never gotten any better than this. Yearbook dedications were to Jack Bradley and Bill Blunt.
  • The 1996 YANICA was dedicated this year to long time Head Secretary Kathleen Hurn who returned in 2006 to the Concrete School Dist. after a hiatus of many years.
  • 1973 YANICA was dedicated to Durward Sobek 1914-1973

    The Editor Needs Your Help!

There are resources available for me to scan images of yearbooks and the graduating class of any particular year. But we would like the person(s) in charge of class reunions to stay in contact with the editor of the Stump Ranch to share NEWS, INFORMATION, PHOTOS on reunions and/or get-togethers.
We welcome communications, photos, news from alumni from any graduating class who want to leave messages or e-mail addresses to their classmates; for the year of their graduation.
This is NOT a subscriber site such as Classmates.com, Reunions.com. It is also not a matchmaker site. It is a free family history resource however.
