Skagit River Journal Genealogy Forum

Welcome, March 1, 2005 Due to many requests, this new genealogy forum is presented in March 2005 as a service to our readers. It is free and you can post whatever question or response you wish. It is in two parts. Click on the link below to read the posts on the forum. Then you can post the first paragraph of your own posting that includes the surnames of people you are seeking information about. You will then be directed to a genealogy forum page where you can post a longer listing. Remember to post your email address so that people can reach you.
When you read our forum, then proceed to our genealogy posting page with full posts about pioneer families and their descendants. You can then either post your query there or read queries from other posters and answer them if you have information.
We will only edit for obscenity or slanderous comments, the bane of all public forums, and for the sake of personal security. We ask only that you report any responses to us that help you learn about your family or ancestors or relatives, information that will help us complete the profiles of our pioneer families. We also urge you to be very careful about posting information about people still living. Security is always a concern and we will exercise our editorial rights if we sense that anyone's personal security is being breached.
Please do not include U.S. mail/street addresses and phone numbers for you or anyone else; those should be exchanged by private email. Feel free to post the city or state where you live. The person whom you are answering will want to follow up, so please either post your email address or you can have posters go through our email if you prefer for us to relay messages. Click on the link below to go to the forum. We have posted some inquiries from readers over the years that have not yet been answered.
